A school backpack for a child, a chance for the future
At the beginning of the new school year, Moldasig Vienna Insurance Group carried out the social campaign “A school backpack for a child, a chance for the future” — an initiative through which the company, together with its employees, offered school backpacks equipped with supplies to children from vulnerable families in the village of Sinești, Ungheni district.
The campaign took place between 17 and 28 August and involved employees from several company subdivisions. Through the team's and the company's joint contribution, 22 fully equipped school backpacks were prepared and distributed to beneficiaries of the “Casa Bună” social centre and vulnerable families in the locality.
Each backpack was carefully prepared and included school supplies, notebooks, a pencil case and a school diary, providing beneficiaries with practical support at the start of the new school year.
The distribution of the backpacks was carried out in partnership with the charity organization “Ajută un Om”, as part of the national campaign “Backpack with notebooks”. The organization supported the identification of beneficiaries and the delivery of the backpacks in the village of Sinești.
Through this collaboration, support reached those who needed it, offering not only material resources for school, but also a message of encouragement, care and solidarity from the Moldasig Vienna Insurance Group team.
For Moldasig Vienna Insurance Group, social responsibility means active involvement in the community and support for initiatives that can bring real change.
